I was out today and picked up a bottle of Mendocino Avalanche at the hydro store. I have never used it before but I had heard Dude say he used it and liked it on the show and the guy in the store had used it himself as well and really liked it. He said it wouldn’t raise the PPM either. My main question is how do those who use this or a similar additive decide when you start it and how much to use as it gave a range from 2.5-5 ml a gallon. What is your experience with it? How does it change the bud compared to not using it? Does it effect yield?

You use it the last 2 weeks before you flush and the first week of flush is optional. Three total weeks at most. With an 8 week strain for example, you’d use it 2.5-3 ml week five, 4-5 ml week six and 3-4 ml week seven. Nothing week eight. I’ve tested it out on several crops with good results. The buds came out a little denser for sure.
Cool, Thanks so much for the info. I am on week 7 almost 8 so I need to get it in my regimen now. I believe these plants will go at least 10 or 11 weeks if not more due to my probs. They just now seem to be bulking again. My last plant they came out a little fluffy, it was all blurple grown though. I am gonna have to get me a 8 week strain. That seems amazingly fast to me.
If you have a 8 week strain will it be the same 8 week flowering cycle under all lighting? like be ready under a blurple at the same time as a qb288 if grown the same style.
