Hey fellas,
I am bringing in some clones and am wondering what quarantine procedures you recommend for clones coming into the grow.
I do no-till organics so I use Method-1 or my own mix of oils to spray. I have had my own mothers for years but need to take a break! lOl.
So I’m looking for some knowledge on maybe a more effective Intake procedures for clones. I have beneficials hypoaspis and cucumeris in the indoor bed also.
thanks my brothers!

Look into a complete dunk head to toe. That’s about the only way to knock things out before they become an issue. You can dip them in a .5 percent solution of Suffoil x. It is recommended by Suzanne Evans, the bug lady. Had a good episode on tad hussey cannabis cultivation and science podcast awhile back.
Oh yeah. Suffoil x! I heard that pod cast but didn’t think it would be in Canada but it is. I bet o have to have a pesticide certification to buy it. I will look into it.
Thanks!
So we have it on CANADA but they won’t sell it to me without a applicators certificate. So that’s out of the mix.
Another thing i would do is keep them out of your grow area for a couple of weeks to make sure you have no PM. It can take a few weeks to rear it’s ugly head.
Amen to that. I do have a tent I can put them in for a while. Thanks.
As the others said… dipping and keeping them away from other plants.
I keep new clones in a seperate small tent for the first 2 weeks. During that time I’m checking them for pests and spraying with preventives like neem oil and tweetmint every 3 days.
I really like tweetmint enzyme soap for clone dipping. Not sure if you can get that in Canada, but it’s awesome stuff so I would see if it’s available.
Here’s me doing a tweetmint dunk on some companion plants. Apparently it’s safe to use on the root zone, so I should have fully submerged the pot too.

I did manage to pick up Suffoil x but Guru mentioned dipping the whole clone in sulphur at the rate labeled on the sulphur package. I’ve never heard of anyone doing the whole clone, roots and all. Is this something that’s safe for the clones? Seems a bit risky.
Lots of pests live in and lay eggs in the root zone. It’s crucial to cover your bases with a full plant dip top to roots. Listen to the beginning of cannabis cultivation podcast episode 19 Suzanne the bug lady. Good information.
