Instead of using a submersible pump to keep you nutes mixed, get a aquarium circulation pump. It’s like an underwater fan, doesn’t heat the water at all. They have fancy adjustable magnetic ones. But they also have cheap $12 versions that work great.
This is a great idea. I think I’ve got one laying around somewhere.
