I want to try and increase the flavours of my herb and have been trying to think of ways to do it. Genetics is the obvious one but what can you add to the garden to help. On one of the shows the guys mentioned sulfur been an important micro nutrient (might be wrong on the micro) for increasing flavour, would Epsom salts(magnesium sulfate) help for terp production? What are you guys using to help increase terpenes?
Increasing terpene profiles.

More of a secondary nutrient. But sulphur can help bring the dank. Usually giving her a dose around week three up to 5 of flower. It doesn’t take much. Maintaining a lower temp last couple of weeks of flower help maintain terpenes and obviously a slow cool dry. Genetics really are a big part. Ive heard of companion parenting terpene rich herbs like basil. A healthy living soil that can provide the plant nutrients so it can devote resources to producing secondary metabolites is another key aspect. Ive also heard of some knf type treatments like fermented plant juices from terpene rich plants or fermented fruit juices. Also using a sugar source like molasses week before plain water can help keep microbes trucking and feeding the plant. Lots of little things will add up. Mostly comes down to pheno hunting.
UVB lighting… This is my own voodoo, mixed with weak science, and yes Epsom salt.
In a 4×4 I use two Arcadia 12% UVB 48″ T8’s.
MIGRO has a recent YT vid on UVB, check it out.
Focus on the fundamentals… good lighting, dialed in environment, and good genetics. Also your drying and curing procedures play a big impact too.
In my experience, there is no magic product that gives you more terps. The best flavor comes from genetics, plant health, and focusing on the basics.
