Hey DGC,
I really don’t know what’s going on my Grape Balls of Fire(Ethos), ever since it started this plant has been giving me problems and then it went through a healthy phase for a month and now some of the lower leaves are showing these signs. I don’t know if it’s magnesium or what’s going on but it’s mostly on the lower leaves. Nothing on the top. 15 gallon pot fully living soil using buildasoil craftblend, kelp, and a bunch of other amendments.
Whatever is going on with your leaves is not nutritional. I’d be looking for pests.
I’ll check under the leaves and on the leaves on several parts of the plant with my microscope.
I checked the whole plant I saw zero bugs or feces or any leftovers on the underneath and on top of the leaves
Totally looks like thrips.
Old leaves die. Is this just on the bottom? Are these leaves that are not getting any light anymore?
Yes only at the bottom and it’s has enough light.
Not soil related hombre ..IMO .. like jmystro said looks for some buggies
Is it possible you’re spraying some recharge (or any biostimulant) or nutrients on the lower leaves when you water? This kinda resembles some patterns of overspray that I’ve seen before. If it’s not bugs
I’m a big fan of removing any leaves from the bottom that are too close to the media. Looms lime you did a decent job, but I would remove more for air flow and peace of mind
