Please help clarify vpd chart in flower because keeping it between 40%-50% dont make sense when going off the chart and this is very confusing to me Ok, i am told to keep rh 40% to 50% during early and mid flower but this is virtually impossible to do while staying i. A healthy temp range while staying with the vpd chart parameters. This topic has been making me want to bang my head off the wall because i cannot find a solution other than throwing the vpd chart out during flower and only use it in veg.

That VPD chart can be followed in veg but not in flower. What’s good for the leaves is not good for the flowers.
I’ve been thinking the same thing on flower vpd, but all I can say is proper watering and 50% in flower can’t really go wrong, even try to keep lower temps in veg so humidity doesn’t need to go any higher then 60%. That’s just my opinion, and keep your temps/humidity stable. I’m even running a heater at night to keep temps at 73 at night lights on 77 degrees. Good watering is key
You try to keep your vpd at 0.8-1.2 for early flower and 1.2-1.6 for late flower. if the chart is confusing use the vpd calculator on pulse grows and change the numbers for what you can change.

I agree 💯 with Jmystro, that has been my feelings for some time. In bloom it’s all about the flowers not the leaves and moreover the environmental parameters are strain even plant specific. If I just monitor my plants health I can keep all in the grow relatively happy but when I try to use VPD in bloom I end up pissing all of them off while chasing the perfect VPD. It didn’t take long to see that a Colombian Haze and a Purest Afghani didn’t like the same VPD, watch your plants they will tell you more than your VPD during bloom. Happy Growing 🙂
