Hello DGC. I’m looking to upgrade from my current light. I have a 2×4 7ft tall tent. Currently have a mars hydro sp250 I paid about 300 from amazon when it first came out a few years ago. I’m looking to upgrade to the best but dont want too much. I have it narrowed to the hlg 350r about $550 and the green sunshine company electric sky 300v3 about $650 with coupon. I love the es300v3 but dont want to fry everything. I only do autoflowers and have an infinity cloudline s4 for airflow also an oscillating fan. Any input from anyone with experience with either of these two lights would be appreciated. Thank you for the help

Those are both good lights. It’s dealers choice in my opinion.
I have an ES180 V2 and its an awesome light but it will burn the shit out of your plants if you are not careful. I have no experience with the HLG but I have never heard anything bad about them. I agree with Snickelfritz, Both are top quality. It will depend on how much you want to spend. Good luck and happy growing!
If you are down to do a little bit of wiring/assembly, check out the HLG 260w XL and 320w DIY kits.
They aren’t that hard to assemble and you can save a bunch of money vs the prebuilt lights. The xl heatsink that comes with those kits also fits really nicely in a 2×4 and provides great coverage even with the two board 260w kit.
The 320w kit with three quantum boards in a 2×4 is absolutely a beast of a light.
