Whats up growers!? Took Dudes advice waited another 2 weeks got the ladies healthy and did some more LST all lookin good now flippin to flower Sun. Got my order from BAS in, got the top dress and Agsil 16H potassium silicate. Top dressed everything and went to water in with 1.5g of Agsil per 1 gallon and the pH was through the roof 10.1! I think my problems before were pH related and wasn’t checking it because Ive been using a ton of RECHARGE so I decided to start checking (rather be safe than sorry ) also using only distilled water plus some cal mag now.
Was wondering if I could just use some white vinegar to bring the pH down a little or use just use less Agsil? Also how much does pH matter when it comes to foliar sprays? As i plan on using it for that as well with neem. Don’t have any up/down on hand and need to water real soon. Thanks again DGC everything is coming along nicely now thanks to you guys!
1.5 grams per gallon. About 5 grams in teaspoon so a little over quarter teaspoon per gallon. Just about 5x to much. So about 1/5 of that mix and rest plain water to fill a gallon.
Stuff keeps off just mixed with water. Not sure about the viniger i know someone asked earlier on a post and I’m trying to remeber what the downside of it was. Maybe something the viniger breaks down into is an issue. The going to look it up when i get a chance.
You have the correct ratio. Build a soil recommends exactly the amount you are using and that’s what I use. I mix Agsil and aloe in a foliar spray in veg and my plants love it and stay pest and environmentally resilient. I also water it in at same ratio every 2 weeks or so and my plants are healthy and heavy. Your plants look great and if you are using recharge in a living soil I wouldn’t worry about it at all. I make a living soil mix and never test ph or correct and my yields and quality have never been better.
My bad not sure where i read teaspoon lol. Too ripped not to mention all the swipe auto correct loveliness. And i also meant to mention how amazing that tent filled out. Keep it up doing great. I know the kelp in recharge raises the ph as well, im sure the microbes can handle it. Stay irie and can’t wait to see those girls stretch.
