Hey growers
I’m building another small grow chamber ( 3.5 x 3.5 x 7′) and doing some remodeling of my other three.
I’m not running sealed rooms, but I want the door to be perfectly sealed. I want all the air that enters the grows to go through the intake filters instead of under the door.
What are you guys and gals doing to fix this? I gotta keep the dust and animal/wife hair off my medicine.

We made a draft guard out of a pool noodle cut in half and sewed then together with a towel to make a draft guard for a total cost of $1 for the pool noodle. It works for us. I can actually feel the suction on my passive return now. It worked for us!
I used the same kind of idea as NewbieDoobie but instead of a pool noodle, I used the things you put on water pipes to keep them from sweating. They are basically the same thing as a pool noodle, but they are already split lengthwise for you, so all you have to do is cut to the length you need and slide it under the door.
Go to the hardware store and tell them you are trying to weatherstrip an exterior door.
Theres all kinds of rubber strips and similar stuff already designed specifically for this purpose.
When I built my rooms, I told the guy putting in the doors I’d be using the rooms for climate controlled storage. They set me up with some really nice exterior style doors that already had all kinds of fancy rubber gaskets installed. 🙂
