Don’t Over Vege! Starting Flowering Early for a Manageable Canopy.

Soup – This is also a great reminder not to over veg! I’ve been growing for 10+ years and I still goof this up sometimes. Usually over vegging just means more labor from the grower to support everything! this part of the grow is WAY easier if you plan ahead. keep the plants a little shorter and get in there early with some netting or some stakes to give them some support. Plan ahead and keep the plants to a reasonable size and you can save yourself a ton of time and effort later in flower.

Dr. Phil Goude – If you are growing in pots and have some two foot zip ties you can quickly add supports for your plants. I actually never stick my bamboo stakes into the media. I strap them to the outside of my pots with zip ties.

Trellis? Good/Bad, Staking….  Labor intensive.

I’ve been reading this book called Good Chemistry that talks about the connection between psychedelics and the soul. Screens give us a false sense of companionship, they trick the brain into thinking you’re getting human interaction, but it’s a hollow, junk food VR imitation. She talks about it contributing to the opioid crisis and the huge amount of people on antidepressants. The author Julie Holland MD, considers cannabis a psychedelic and really does a great job of explaining the endocannabinoid system. When people are sad or scared they want to soothe themselves with anything that acts like a drug. Author say “she’s a card carrying drug user and longtime student of all things psychoactive”. The Endocannabinoid system. We have an endogenous (internal) endocannabinoid system in our bodies. Just recently discovered in 1992. They found out that a large number of our brain receptors respond to cannabis! The endocanabanoids (cannabis like compounds produced by our bodies). Anandamide, 2AG, All mammals have endocannabinoid systems. Phytocannabanoids (cannabis like compounds produced by cannabis plants).

Looks like Austin, the capitol has decriminalized within city limits. There are bills that have made its way to our state congress but nothing has passed yet. Looking forward to change! klunasaurus – I’ve been on federal probation for 7 years . Being convicted in Brazos county texas with a q/p and 3 grams of concentrate. All personal. I fought the case for 2 years to get just probation and a hefty fine. I’ve since moved to Denver Colorado pre pandemic in 2019. Born and raised in texas . I won’t ever even consider going back unless they legalize.

Junglie – Got busted for growing last year for the first time in 42 years of growing, they took my 5 plants,(2 weeks off harvest) slashed my tent to bits, took all my lights fan filter etc & stomped 3 of the pots compost content into my landing carpet just out of badness, wtf are they so frightened of a plant for? to do such childish shit. They sent a drone to check the bedroom i was using too this summer while I was in the garden. Spare a though for us british underground breeders & growers. I was growing to treat my cancer & prevent it returning too. Spent 12 hours in the cells & was released with a caution . No charge. What a waste of police time & our money.
